Civilization: Beyond Earth can now be pre-loaded, Linux and Mac date announced

Did you pre-purchase Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth? Good. This means you can now pre-load the game via Steam.
The strategy game will be released globally on Friday, October 24 and now comes word the game will land this holiday season on Mac and Linux.
The later two versions will be released via Aspyr Media on Steam and through Apple’s Mac App Store. You can pre-order a Steam code for the for Mac and Linux through Aspyr’s online store .
All GameAgent pre-orders will include the Exoplanets Map Pack as a free bonus and the entire game contains cross-platform multiplayer via Steam.
