Child of Eden at $35 on Amazon

The highly anticipated spiritual successor to the all-time classic Rez has come down in price in just its third week on the market and is now going for just $35.

The offer comes by way of Amazon.com, after a seriously underwhelming performance by the game during its first couple of weeks at retail.

There's no word on whether this is a permanent price reduction or if its a limited time offer. Given the game's less-than-stellar opening (missing the top 20 in the UK) it's not so far-fetched to imagine this being permanent.

Child of Eden has received a generally positive critical reception with a Metacritic rating of 83. Though some dissenting reviewers complained of its brevity.
