If you have any reason to be on EA's mailing lists, you might have stumbled onto an invite for Star Wars Battlefront 2.
Can't wait to play Battlefront 2? We hear you. I mean, did you see that starfighter gameplay? Sadly most of us still have to wait until November to try it ourselves - unless your email happens to be somewhere in Electronic Arts system. Early this morning reports started pouring in of fans obtaining invites to Star Wars Battlefront 2's closed alpha, the lucky sons of banthas.
According to this thread on Neogaf, players who took part in the Battlefront 1 alpha are receiving invitations for the sequel. The alpha period apparently starts today.
If you didn't get an invite, the finished game will launch on November 17 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
