Check out the 3DS's new Join Friend function

The latest 3DS firmware update allows players to party up quickly and easily.
The firmware which supports the Join Friend function was snuck in with Super Mario 3D Land, but the first game to utilise it is Mario Kart 7.
Tiny Cartridge captured the feature in action in the video below. Mario Kart 7 hits the 3DS in early December.
