CCP Newcastle working on future PC and console tech

CCP has told Develop it's already working on tech for the next generation of consoles and future PC tech.
According to the firm's VP of business development, Thor Gunnarsson, the work is underway at its studio in Newcastle.
"Ultimately, CCP Newcastle will be working in full capacity on technology for the next generation of hardware,"he said. "Newcastle really is an engineering office for us, that's the kind of people we're looking for. They're working on internal tech, and with various middleware, and game engines too."
CCP's Dust 514 hits PS3 in 2012.
