Casual games development "frowned on," says Molyneux
Speaking to Shacknews, Lionhead boss Peter Molyneux has said he believes casual games development is frowned upon in general.
“Twenty years ago we honestly thought that [large] percentages of the world's population would be playing computer games. And it's not, it's fractions of the world's population. And I think partly it's because we keep making games for these two separate audiences," he said.
“We make them for the core gamers here, the casual gamers here, and there's a big great wall between them. If you develop games for casual gamers you're just frowned on a bit."
