CastleMiner Z cracks 1 million sales

CastleMiner Z holds a couple of Xbox Live Indie Games records - it's the fastest-selling release the service has ever hosted, and also the first to crack the big 1 million.
In a press release, developer DigitalDNA Games noted that hitting the milestone took ten months.
During those ten months, the co-op survival sim was the best-selling XBLIG every day. As it's the first to hit 1 million sales, it's now the best-selling XBLIG title of all time.
CastleMiner Z's closest rival is its own prequel, CastleMiner, which was a similarly Minecraft-y experience but with no survival elements.
