Capcom reports 57% profit drop
Capcom has reported a 57 percent fall in profits for the nine months ending December 31, down to ¥179 billion from ¥3.57 billion in the previous corresponding period.
Sales fell 9 percent to Sales fell to ¥47.2 billion.
“The absence of flagship titles as well as consumers’ money-saving attitudes also negatively affected sales,” said the company.
It was noted in the report that Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV won't ship until the year's fourth quarter.
