Capcom Heroes mode in Dead Rising 4 allows Frank to take on zombies as Dante, Sissel, more
This Dead Rising 4 video shows Frank West wearing some interesting outfits.
Capcom Heroes is a costume and new game mode pack for Dead Rising 4, and the latest video shows off some some of the more interesting fashion choices.
Those who purchase the PlayStation 4 version of Dead Rising 4, dubbed Frank's Big Package, will be handed the outfit pack alongside the core game, and all previously released DLC content.
Not only does Capcom Heroes contain all sorts of crazy outfits for Frank, but he is also able to perform special attacks based on classic Capcom characters.
Over a dozen are included, and in the video you'll get a look at:
- Cammy from Street Fighter
- X from Mega Man X
- Sissel from Ghost Trick
- Adam “The Clown” MacIntyre from Dead Rising
- Dante from Devil May Cry
- “Classic” Frank West from Dead Rising
- Zombie Frank from Frank Rising
- More to be revealed at a later date
Cammy was released as part of a Street Fighter pack in January along with Zangief, Guile and M. Bison.
The Capcom Heroes mode allows players to progress through missions in the story wearing the various Capcom character costumes which include moves associated with said character. These are obtained through arcade machines located throughout the game world. When Frank interacts with one, he will be able to quip one of the hero outfits.
As Adam, Frank can wield dual chainsaws, and as Dante he'll use the Rebellion Sword. These are two examples.
Frank can also purchase some outfits from vendors and unlock others by finding hidden collectibles. Hero Training side missions will also award outfit variants and upgrades.
Current Dead Rising 4 players on Xbox One, Steam and Windows 10 will receive the Capcom Heroes mode as a free update on December 5.
Dead Rising 4: Frank’s Big Package will run $49.99 on PS4.
