Trucks are gone from Call of Duty: Warzone Solos

Call of Duty: Warzone has received its first update addressing the vehicle meta.

Vehicles continue to be incredibly strong in Call of Duty: Warzone. Despite their exact, real-time location being constantly tracked on the minimap anytime they're occupied, their health pool and easy handling makes them a menace.

Players dubbed this the vehicle meta, and though Warzone developers have generally left things alone on that front, they're now starting to make changes. A recent patch adjusted their hitboxes so drivers now have to actually commit to running someone over, rather than be gifted those kills anytime their vehicle is near a target.

Now, developers are taking things a step further by removing certain vehicles from the game entirely. In Solos mode, where they're perhaps most lethal, armoured trucks have been removed.

Players first noticed this following yesterday's playlist update, and it's now been confirmed by Raven Soft's Amos Hodge. Raven, of course, co-developed Warzone.

Other vehicles remain in Warzone Solos, as well as its various other modes; save for the currently live LTM, Scopes and Scatter Guns, where no vehicles exist at all. That said, the fact the developer isn't shying away from taking out tools players have been abusing is interesting.
