Here's our first look at Call of Duty: Warzone's new subway stations, coming with Season 6

The leaks were true: Call of Duty: Warzone is getting a subway system.

In Season 5 of Call of Duty: Warzone, Infinity Ward added a train above ground to the Verdansk map. In the upcoming Season 6, we're getting a subway system.

The first confirmation of this came through the Season 6 cinematic, which showed Farah and Nikolai planning some sort of attack from a network of subway stations. Of course, those who keep up with Warzone leaks will know that underground stations got leaked a while back.

Overnight, Infinity Ward posted a map showing all seven stations, and their respective routes. The stops cover much of the map, stretching from near the military base in the north, to the promenade in the south. They can also take you near the stadium in the east, all the way to the train station in the west.

Interestingly, however, the trains will not move if there's fighting onboard the train itself, or between riders and opponents on the platforms. The trains are also smart enough to only take you to areas inside the circle, so you should feel safe taking one late game. Infinity Ward says underground trains offer the fastest, safest way to get around the map - so long as you can avoid ambushes at the various stops.

There are two routes, as you might expect, for each station. Inside the stations themselves, you'll find loot like any other part of town. The layout is the same for all of them.

Season 6 goes live on Tuesday, September 29 with a new Battle Pass that for the first time will include two operators instead of one.
