Call of Duty: Warzone's latest discovery is a trick that gives you an edge in the Gulag
You may now start caring a lot more about your emote wheel in Call of Duty: Warzone.
One of Call of Duty: Warzone battle royale's most interesting mechanics is undoubtedly the Gulag. Rather than kick you out of the match entirely, your first death in Warzone battle royale sends you to the Gulag.
There, you fight another player in a single-round match, similar to Gunfight mode from Modern Warfare. The winner quickly gets back into the match, whereas the loser has to wait for their alive teammates to buy them back.
Since Warzone's release, players been uncovering more and more of the Gulag's secrets. Reddit user Publicwest made an interesting discovery that involves the often neglected spray paint.
In Warzone, just like the main game Modern Warfare, all players have access to an emote wheel that also includes a few sprays, which can be painted on walls etc. Of course, no one ever does that, so many players don't know it even exists.
Publicwest found that if you spray paint other players while everyone is waiting their turn, the spray paint remains for when the player drops into the pit to fight. If you spray paint another player, say, bright yellow, they're going to be a lot easier to see down there.
You obviously don't know which player you'll come up against, but you can maximise your potential by spray painting everyone. See how it all went down in their video below:
Don't waste your time punching enemies in the gulag! Give them a tag and make them easier to see ;) from r/CODWarzone
In other Warzone news, the game just crossed the 15 million players mark, up from 6 million in the first 24 hours. Developer Infinity Ward has big plans for the future, promising 200-player matches and bigger squads
