Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare loading screens replaced with Black Lives Matter splash

Anyone who jumps into Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare will be greeted with new splash screens advocating for Black Lives Matter.

Infinity Ward rolled out a small update last night for Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare that changed the game's splash and loading screens to a black screen titled, "Black Lives Matter."

It goes on to relay a message of support to the Black community and everyone's fight against racism and inequality. It is hard to miss.

"The systemic inequalities our community experiences are once again center stage. Call of Duty and Infinity Ward stand for equality and inclusion. We stand against the racism and injustice our Black community endures. Until change happens and Black Lives Matter, we will never truly be the community we strive to be," it reads.

This comes after both Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Mobile delayed their new season launches. Earlier this week, Infinity Ward made a commitment to eradicate racist user content in its games by ramping up moderation efforts and working on new reporting tools.
