Not all of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's season 1 content will arrive on the same day
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's first season of content may be the series' biggest drop, but it won't all be there at launch.
Following last night's season one reveal for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Activision has dived a bit deeper into the content drop's different components.
First, the blog post confirmed that not all of the content shown in that promo image will be available on day one. This is a bit disappointing, though it sadly doesn't reveal what's actually going to be added on December 3.
The good news is that what's been revealed so far doesn't encompass everything coming in season one. More specifically, you can at least expect new maps, modes and Spec Ops experiences to follow.
The post also teased the game's first battle pass, saying that "every single member of the Modern Warfare community" can earn some of the tiers in the pass. Though specifics weren't mentioned, the post confirmed that the two new weapons - as well as other cosmetic content - are part of the battle pass.
The battle pass itself is made up of 100 tiers, but the full season one reveal won't happen until December 3, the day the season begins.
