Call of Duty: Modern Warfare gets new Ground War map, Infected party mode
Infinity Ward rolled out a small playlist update that brought new content to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Last night, a new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare server update was made available to players. The patch introduces Aniyah Palace to the Ground War playlist.
Aniyah Palace was actually the very first large-scale map Infinity Ward showed off prior to the game's launch, but it never made it into the game. A smaller version of the same map was briefly available in 10v10, which was clearly a small player count for its size. It was removed shortly after.
Infected, the party mode where one player attempts to turn enemy players to their team by infecting (killing) them , is also live, replacing Reinforce. The Gunfight variant dubbed OSP where all players have to pick up weapons rather than start with a set loadout, is also back, replacing regular Gunfight.
Finally, the Hardcore section saw a lot of love, with a new Shoot House 24/7 playlist, and another NVG Moshpit. All of these updates will be available the next time you log into the game.
