Call of Duty: Modern Warfare campaign gameplay to be shown off soon
Now that we've seen plenty of multiplayer gameplay from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, fans have turned their attention to the campaign.
Outside of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reveal trailer, we've not seen a single thing from the game's single-player campaign. Although some missions were shown to press behind closed doors, the general public has yet to get a proper look at it.
Developer Infinity Ward is aware of these requests, and plans to show off the campaign in better detail soon. Studio narrative director Taylor Kurosaki confirmed on Twitter that campaign footage is "coming up soon."
Kurosaki sadly didn't say if that means a new trailer or extended gameplay footage.
Joel Emslie, studio art director, reiterated Kurosaki's promise, saying that campaign footage is indeed on its way.
Gamescom starts two weeks from now, so there's a good chance this is when we'll be getting a fresh look at Modern Warfare. We've also yet to see or hear any solid details about Spec Ops, the game's third mode, though hopefully footage of that, too, is coming.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare launches October 25 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
