Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare reviews have begun to trickle in even as the shooter goes live with the shifting timezones.

Not too many big outlets had a full review ready for the embargo today. Disclosures show some are based on a Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare review event, rather than live play, and there are a few "in progress" articles in there pending the servers going live.

From what I've read, skimming over the few critiques below, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is a lot more like a classic Call of Duty than all the science fiction stuff might have suggested, but the new setting opens up unexplored story opportunities. For some critics this is a point worth praising, while for others it's a bit of a downer since they'd like to see something new from the campaign.
