Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare - here's your first look at the multiplayer
Activision showed off the multiplayer portion of its latest Call of Duty game during Call of Duty XP today.
Players will don Combat Rigs in multiplayer which can be customized with select payloads and traits. There will be six to choose from.
Weapons can be customized through crafting using the Salvage crafting currency, and the weapons lineup consists of Primary and Secondary, each with modern design elements and aesthetics. You can find out more information on the multiplayer through a rather extensive post on the matter. And boy, is it extensive!
Matt was able to try the multiplayer out this week. He seemed pretty excited over using the Combat Rig Synaptic, which let's the player get down on all fours for a speed boost - sort of like a robot dog.
A multiplayer beta will be held in October, and PlayStation 4 users will be able to get in on it first. It will be held on the 14th of that month, and to secure your place, you will need to pre-order the game.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be released on November 4 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Activision's Call of Duty XP event runs though the weekend, so expect to hear more news out of it.
