Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies update brings stability fixes
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 updates continue to roll out, with a focus on Zombies this time around.
Following on from this week's Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 general update, which tweaked player count in Blackout and fixed a few PC crashes, Treyarch has now released a new server-side update.
The focus today is on Zombies, particularly the mode's stability across the four maps: 9, Voyage of Despair, Blood of the Dead, and Classified. This also includes fixes for Easter egg quests, which have been known to cause crashes and other problems.
More broadly, Treyarch has outlined some other issues that recently cropped up in multiplayer, and Blackout. For instance, there have been calls to nerf or buff certain weapons and equipment. The developer is aware, and the first balance pass will ship with this week's big update.
In Blackout, players have reported some bizarre vehicle behaviour, which Treyarch is investigating. The team is also looking into reports of freezing when looting a dead player's stash on consoles.
Another fix coming later this week will put an end to the issue causing loss of stats and unlocked camo progression when the connection times out. The big patch Treyarch has been teasing does not yet have a release date, but it's likely going to hit today or tomorrow.
