Watch new Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 gameplay showing Zombies, multiplayer, specialist missions
If you've been itching to see more Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 gameplay since the Blackout beta went offline, you'll find plenty to get busy with today.
We're hours away from the worldwide launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and all of its anticipated modes. Though we had seen (and played) plenty of multiplayer, and Blackout over the past few months, Zombies remained a bit of a mystery.
Treyarch recently invited many YouTubers to the studio for an early capture session. Those invited were allowed to record multiplayer as well as Zombies gameplay and many have published their videos with a tonne of footage.
Those who weren't invited but managed to get their hands on early copies of Black Ops 4 have too been uploading gameplay.
We looked around and picked some of the best ones we could find today. We'll start off with multiplayer since that's easier to parse. There are also plenty of people streaming on Twitch right now, so head over there if you're looking for live gameplay. Be warned, though, queues can take long because of the low pre-release population.
The first video below from HarlemsMickey shows the remake of Firing Range. This is a full Hardpoint round on Firing Range, and it doesn't look like many changes were made to the layout from Black Ops 1.
The next video from HollowPoiint features footage from three of the game's maps in Team Deathmatch. The YouTuber is showing the different weapon mastery camos for the ICR-7, but you can ignore that if you're just here for gameplay.
Moving on to something a bit more interesting: the game's specialist introductory missions. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 doesn't have a single-player campaign in the traditional sense, but it does have story cut-scenes that lead into a training mission for each of the game's specialists.
After watching the cut-scene, you then get to play bot matches that task you with using your specialist's abilities. The video below from Drift0r shows Ruin's mission.
For Zombies, gameplay footage of all three maps are available online. That's 9, Voyage of Despair, and Blood of the Dead. YouTuber MrDalekJD has gameplay of all three.
Being a Zombies fan, they point out a few things about the universal story and hint at some of the Easter eggs Treyarch has hidden. You'll also want to look out for the new fantastical weapons in Zombies.
