Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 - watch uncut multiplayer gameplay
Treyarch not only debuted Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 multiplayer gameplay during the reveal event, the developer is also letting attendees play the game and capture footage.
We've too have played Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 multiplayer and Kirk feels the changes Treyarch made create a more tactical experience, which is unsurprising considering Treyarch is taking inspiration from other games.
But before the game's beta kicks off sometime between now and October, you can have your own take on the changes through watching a chunk of raw gameplay. Which is what we have for you below.
Starting off with this video from Gaming Target, who starts out with a nice preview of the menu options. We get a look at weapon attachments, the weapons available in the demo, a few perks, and the different classes.
Gameplay itself is Domination on Contraband. The player is mostly using the same class and weapon throughout, but we do get a look at some of the other class abilities when teammates and enemies use them.
The next one from HollowPoiint has lots of SMG gameplay from the same map, also playing Domination. The footage gives a good look at how resupplying works, as well as health buff ability one class gets.
There's definitely more to it than shooting, but how much the gameplay pace has really changed remains to be seen.
The most interesting mode playable at the event has to be Control, an Overwatch-style attack/defend where one team starts with two points already captured. The other teams needs to attack either one or both.
The catch is that both teams have limited lives. The round ends when the attacking team manages to capture both points, or either team depletes their lives. A lot more of the class interplay shines in this mode, as you're about to see.
This is also our first look at Seaside, one of the maps playable in the build. Check it out below, courtesy of Gaming Target once again.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is out October 12 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. A private beta is happening sometime before launch.
