This is how beta testers helped improve Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's multiplayer
Treyarch is rather pleased with the feedback received from the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta, and has provided a list of changes made thanks to testers.
According to design director David Vonderhaar, some of the design changes include: a nerf to the Black Hat equipment; putting a player into Rejack now counts as a kill; a cap has been put on how much you can flinch while ADS; the “kill marker" will continue to grow in size with each hit and turn red when dealing lethal damage; and player velocity will no longer negatively impacts grenade trajectory.
The team has also sped up grenade speed and distances, reduced the Concussion grenade stun time by one second, and the Tactical Mask perk will now unlock at level 13.
By popular request, the team added the “Time in Hill” stat for the scoreboard and leaderboards in Hardpoint game mode and players will now receive +25 score for every three seconds that they escort the robot in Safeguard.
Tweaks were also made to the he Kill Cam and Final Kill Cam. Both now show what killed you including weapons, Scorestreaks, Specialist weapons and equipment along with what perks the player has equipped.
Finally, various weapon-balancing changes were implemented particularly to the Razorback and M8A7.
Call of Duty Black Ops 3 launches on November 6 for PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
