Buying all of Destiny's emotes will cost you £30 / $45
If you want to be the embodiment of a montage of emotions with a response for all occasions, it's going to cost you.
A new currency was recently introduced in Destiny to facilitate those all-important microtransactions which currently stretches to 18 emotes. How else are people going to know how you feel? Rather than blowing off steam by such futile acts as lobbing grenades at teammates or unleashing a super at a particularly tricky-to-reach platform, you can just have an outright tantrum instead.
You can't put a price on that.
Bungie's done it for you, and it's 200 silver.
There are 16 rare emotes priced at 200 silver each and two legendary costing 500 silver. The total cost for all 18 is 4,200 silver. Usually you'd shell out for two bundles of 2000 silver for £15.99 each, plus the bonus 300 silver each comes with, to buy them all for just over £30 ($45).
But you can save a couple of quid thanks to the free 400 silver everyone has been gifted to suck you in to the world of Carlton dances and slow claps.
You can buy one of each tier of silver bundles for £28 total which will get you 3,900 silver. Including the 400 you get for free, that's all of the emotes covered with 100 silver left over to keep in your inventory as a memento.
How many emotes have you succumbed to buying - if any? Let us know in the comments.
