It was a public holiday in France yesterday, so I was in a coma. I still haven't grabbed the music from my other PC, so here's another video. I will, in all honesty, do it today.

- THQ has closed New York-based Homefront developer Kaos Studios and THQ Digital Warrington.
- The May NPD has shown that US retail is at its lowest point since 2006. Remember that this data doesn't include digital sales. L.A. Noire topped the software chart.
- Sega EVP of marketing Alan Pritchard has said Wii U will launch next spring or summer.
- Analyst firm Wedbush Morgan has said that the arrival of Wii U has come “two years late.”
- Bethesda's the latest games company to be hacked. Personal data has been compromised, but nothing financial's been affected.
- Modern Warfare 3's spec ops mode was shown on Fallon last night. Watch it here.
- Nintendo of America's released a full product schedule for 2011 and beyond, including mentions of upcoming Resident Evil games and Luigi's Mansion 2 for 3DS.
- Some people are having a little cry over Battlefield 3 pre-order incentives. DICE has assured nothing involved will unbalance the game.
- Bungie Aerospace will be announced in the next few weeks. It was rumoured yesterday that the studio's working on a steampunk title: it isn't.
- Microsoft's preparing some form of Kinect-driven in-game advertising.
- CoD: Elite has taken 2 million beta applications.
- Patrice Désilets has finally started work at THQ Montreal.
