GOA has denied that Warhammer Online is still experiencing registration issues in Europe, despite the fact that it... is.

New users are complaining that they're unable to log into WAR's European site, following assurances from GOA last week that issues experienced in the open beta would be cleared up before launch.

"Your information is inaccurate, sorry," we were told by a rep this morning. "These problems stem prior to the launch."

Which is fine, despite the fact that we personally can't log into the European WAR site. We bought the game yesterday, and didn't participate in the beta.

Not being able to log in means we can't set up an account and patch the client. Which means we can't play the game.

None of this is being helped by the fact that there's no customer support available for the game by phone. Only email.

We're also hearing reports of queues of around 30 minutes to get onto a server for those that have managed to register.

GOA added that the launch was on track.

"For your information, our launch went very well yesterday," said the rep. "Our figures are good."

We're waiting on further comment from GOA in France and UK PR reps.
