Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel may also have a 'Loot Cave'

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is also a first-person-shooter with a loot element just like Destiny. And just like Destiny, you can stand in front of a cave and farm mobs for drops.

In case you're not aware what the term means. 'Loot Cave' is basically the exercise of standing in front of a cave slaughtering mobs of enemies as they spawn to earn loot, you know, instead of actually playing the game normally and coming across loot drops randomly.

Some players have stumbled upon two spots in The Pre-Sequel that serve as good farming spots for weapons, moonstones, and other in-game items.

The first spot was discovered by deathmule. It's found only through the "Let's Build A Robot Army" mission. During the section where you fight some enemies with the help of turrets, don't let the turrets kill them and instead, try to kill as many of them as you can. Another trick is to also quit the mission just before the threshold is reached, rinse and repeat.

The next one, discovered by JHFLEETING, is found in the "Guardian Hunter" mission. Instead of capturing a guardian, just keep killing them, they're going to keep respawning and thus, more loot.

Since it seems we're slowly starting to refer to grinding spots as 'Loot Caves' now, I think the term deserves its own entry on TV Tropes already, or something.

Thanks, Kotaku.
