Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood - Where to find all of Sato's Saga Journals and caches
There are a bunch of new Crew Challenges to complete in Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood and for this challenge, you're on the hunt for Sato's Saga journals and caches.
Now that you've found all of the Creature Feature film reels and Good prospects treasure caches, it's time to find some journals.
There are 10 journals and five caches to find in various locations and you're looking for a green icon that will give you a rough idea of where to find them. This challenge begins in Vestige, where there are two journals to find, so let's get started.
Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood - Where to find all of Sato's Saga Journals and caches
There are two journals to find in each new location as well as one cache. The caches are quite tall and difficult to miss once you're in the right area. The journals look like open books and are often glowing, which should help you spot them quite quickly.
Vestige Sato's Saga Journal and cache location
The first journal is on a balcony, though you'll need to do some parkour to get there. There should be an archway to your left between two buildings, so go through it and climb on to the fence to your right. Walk along the fence and jump up to the roof above, then jump down to the balcony below.
There's another balcony on your left that you can reach by balancing on the balcony beam and jumping over. You'll find your first journal on your left.
The second journal can be found by going through some tunnels, so drop down from the level below, turn right and go through the tunnel. It's a pretty short tunnel and at the end, you'll find another journal. The Vestige cache can be found by using one of the green launch things to reach a rooftop directly across. Drop down to the roof below on the left and cross over to the right to find the cache.
Obisidan Forest Sato's Saga Journal and cache location
This journal can be found by head to Crone's Contentment. You'll want to climb the rock face to the right of the cave entrance to a passageway above. Follow the path around and climb up the rocks at the end of the passage to your right to find the journal.
A second journal can be found in the Obsidian Forest by climbing down the rock face to your left in the area shown below. Climb down and hug the wall to the left to find the second journal. The cache can be found east of this location, near where you found the film reel.
It's to the left of the building with the two circular doorways, next to the vending machines.
Bloodsun Sato's Saga Journal and cache location
The first journal is really easy to find. Head to the location below and climb atop the white semi-circular building to find it. You should be overlooking a mine of sorts.
The second journal is to the east of this location. Head to the Jakobs lab and when you reach the little bridge outside the entrance, jump down to your right to find the next journal. The cache is nearby to this location. You'll need to shoot or melee the green crystal looking things off the wall to open a hatch that will lead to the cache.
Ashfalls Peak Sato's Saga Journal and cache location
This journal might not appear with an icon on your map, but you can check out its location below. Run along the edge of the mountain and you'll see a cave entrance blocked by glowing crystals. Destroy them and inside the cave, you'll find the first journal.
The second journal can be found to the north of the first one. In the big sort of spa chalet, climb up the different levels of the rock pool and stick to the left to find one near the table and bench.
The Ashfalls Peak cache can be found nearby, to the left of the journal. It can be found in the bottom layer of the chalet, when you can see this view, spin around and cross the bridge then look for the large cache tucked away around a corner.
The Blastplains Sato's Saga Journal and cache location
The last two journals and cache can be found in The Blastplains. Head into the mine until you see a crystal structure blocking the path. Melee a nearby crystal to send it flying into the blockage to clear the way. You'll then be able to teleport to a new location where you'll find the first journal.
The last journal is in the top right of the map, depending on your orientation. To get there, head to the Catch-a-ride just to the south of the location and traverse the large red cliff face to reach the platform above the Ride Jetbeast shack. You'll then come across a rickety old bridge, so jump down to your left rather than trying to cross it then use the green jump pad to boost to the other side. You'll find the last journal under a tree.
The cache can be found southwest of the final journal. You'll need to get into Fort Kickwater and run all the way to the back until you see a wooden wall you can climb. Once over the wall, keep to your left until you see the bath diverge to the right and there's a stack of boxes. Climb those boxes and when you reach the upper level, slide under the half-opened gate to your left to find the cache.
