Borderlands 2, Contra reboot, Riot and EA are the subjects of Superannuation's latest findings

Borderlands 2, a Contra reboot cancellation, Riot looking to delve into other games besides League of Legends, and EA possibly developing an Instagram type of app are all touched upon in the latest blog post from Internet sleuth and resume finder extraordinaire, Superannuation.

First up, resumes from current and former The Workshop employees - those who worked on PS3's Sorcery - mention work on Borderlands 2.

Super suspects the work is in relation to an expansion pack to the shooter which released in the US this week, which is codenamed "Torgue". The name is also synonymous with one of the weapons manufacturers in the game and will supposedly contain 10 hours worth of extra content.

Meanwhile, Spec Ops: The Line developer Yager was supposedly working on "a now-cancelled Contra title between June and December 2011," according to Super who feels this was the Contra reboot Konami teased during E3 2011. Instead, it seems Yager is now hiring staff for a "AAA action title" with multiplayer and microtransactions.

Riot Games are hiring, and while some the postings mention League of Legends, others reference unannounced projects. A lead level designer position notes the firm is looking for an applicant with experience in "shooters, RTS, MOBA, [and] open world."

Finally, EA has once again taken to the San Francisco Craigslist board to recruit folks for its EA Game Lab. This time, instead of SimCity or Dead Space 3, the firm wants folks to try out for a "Paid [mobile] photography study" for"an in-development mobile app."
