Borderlands 2 confirmed for PSN at launch in US

Borderlands 2 has been available for pre-order for a while through the European end of PSN, but now those in the US can get in on the digital action if they choose. According to the latest Blogcast on the US PS Blog, those in the US can download the game the day it launches in the region. It will run you $59.99, same as a retail copy but since you can't pre-order it in the US on PSN, you won't get in on the Premiere Club end of it those in Europe will. Borderlands 2 is out September 18 in the US and on September 21 in the UK for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
