Borderlands 2 charity drive aims to complete game in 24-hours
Borderlands 2 is being tackled by three charity fund-raisers in Scotland to raise money for Special Effect, the foundation that creates controllers so that anyone - regardless of disability - can play games.
Gamers Scott Marley, Paul Lithgow and Scott Watson will try to beat Borderlands 2 and all four DLC packs in just 24-hours for Special Effect in Glasgow on August 31. The group have set their goal low at just £500, which means anything above that is a bonus.
Speaking with the Daily Record, Marley said that he coined the idea after meeting the SpecialEffect team at Eurogamer Expo last year, "I was amazed when I saw the work the charity do.
"I've been a keen gamer since I was eight and over the years its brought me a lot of joy, I remember my excitement when I first picked up a joystick and played Paperboy on the ZX Spectrum. The guys and I want to help ensure that everyone, regardless of their ability, can get that same joy from gaming."

Best of luck to the trio.
