Bloodborne customization detailed, screenshots and new TV spot out

Information on customization and leveling in Bloodborne has been released by Sony Japan along with the TV spot for the game.

According to a post on the EU PS Blog, the main hub players will use as their home base is the Hunter’s Dream, which can be returned to using lanterns spread throughout the world.

While visiting Hunter’s Dream, players can purchase items, level up their character by speaking to the Doll, repair and upgrade weapons and seek advice from Gehrman.

Blood Echoes are the main currency and obtained from hunting beasts and there will also be special items called Blood Gems which can be obtained to upgrade weapons.

The Memory Altar will allow players to memorize special Caryll Runes to upgrade their character and some will allow players to carry more items in the inventory or boost the amount of Blood Echoes.

Also, those who have a PlayStation headset will be able to upload a custom Bloodborne audio mode.

Bloodborne is out next week on PS4.
