Bloodborne pre-Old Hunters patch out, adds new covenant, Chalice Dungeon changes
Patch 1.07 is out now for Bloodborne.
Sony has yet to officially list the changes today's Bloodborne patch brought in English. Doesn't matter though, because Reddit has done a rough translation.
Notes for patch 1.07 are only available on the Japanese PlayStation blog, but they don't differ that much from what we already know. The update is available now, weighing in at 9.7GB.
It adds The League, a new covenant that lets you summon its members to fight with you in the game. You can be part of it with the help of an NPC near the first lamp of the Forbidden Forest.
The Ancient Summoning Bell is also a new item the patch adds, it lets you summon old hunters to fight with you, as well as other players. It uses Insight. Non-root Chalice Dungeons have also received a change, they will now have a standardized glyph, opening the door for co-op or PvP encounters.
In addition, phantoms of other players looking for co-op will be visible when you use the Summoning Bell. This will be indicated by ripples that appear on the phantoms you see.
The Old Hunters expansion is out November 24.
