Blizzard offers free character migration to combat World of Warcraft server queues

World of Warcraft is experiencing queues on some of its most popular servers, so Blizzard is now offering players the chance to migrate their character to another realm for free.

PCGamesN reports that queues on Tichondrius, Illidan, and Stormrage have become particular bad in fact, that Blizzard has stepped in with a blog update explaining the matter.

The post reads, “If the size of a realm's population results in login queues and decreased performance, we conduct an evaluation to determine whether dispersing some of the population to other realms would represent the best means for resolving these issues. If so, we offer Free Character Migrations.”

If you do decide to migrate then it's a one-way ticket unfortunately, and there is a large list of terms and conditions that go along with each move. I suggest you check them out if you're interested as you may lose some elements of your character in the process.

PCGamesN adds that you can't choose where you go either, as Tichondrius players go to Blackrock, Illidan players head to Mannoroth, and Stormrage characters end up in Trollbane.
