Blizzard considering adding more Overwatch characters to Heroes of the Storm

Tracer may have paved the way for more Overwatch Heroes.

Overwatch's Tracer made her debut in Heroes of the Storm back in April, a month before her own game had even hit the shelves.

She was nerfed fairly early on and now has a winrate of 50% and is just inside of the top 30 most popular heroes.

Talking to Destructoid, Lead Hero Designer Kent-Erik Hagman said, "I'd say the reaction to Tracer has been overwhelmingly positive! She has such a fun, almost militantly- positive personality that brings a unique voice to the Nexus.

"Having seen how our players reacted to her, you can definitely say that we're looking at adding even more Heroes from Overwatch! There are so many awesome characters that we think would make great, unique additions to Heroes of the Storm."

So while there's no confirmation of any firm plans to start rolling out Overwatch characters into Heroes of the Storm right now, it's on the cards.
