Blizzard confirms it's working on a new Diablo project

Blizzard is hiring for a job very specific to Diablo.

The ever-rich Blizzard careers website has a new listing that's specifically looking for a dungeon artist. The listing explicitly says that the developer is working on an unannounced Diablo project.

"We're working on a new, unannounced Diablo project. Are you a skilled dungeon artist? Come work with us, and together we will build something exceptional," the description reads.

Blizzard doesn't typically reveal projects through its jobs page, and usually prefers to just say unannounced project. It's not exactly earth-shattering news that a new Diablo is coming, but you may want to temper your expectations a little bit.

Back in March, a report came out suggesting that Blizzard is porting Diablo 3 to Nintendo Switch. This job ad could simply be for that project, since it qualifies as an "unannounced Diablo project."

But it there's also the chance the job is for a completely new game. In either case, we may not hear about whatever game this is for a while, given how long Blizzard typically takes to develop games.

We'd definitely love for this to be a Diablo 4, though.
