Sony has today confirmed North American release plans for three pretty special Vita titles - BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma, No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either and Murasaki Baby.

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma was previously announced for PS3 launch in the west but a new PlayStation Blog post about the special edition confirms a Vita release as well.

The Arc System Works fighter will have an all new extra story mode featuring Ragna, Noel, Celica and Kagura - at the beach.

It will also feature cross-buy DLC support with the PS3 version, story summaries for previous titles Calamity Trigger and Continuum Shift, and enhancements to Abyss mode.

Although a Vita date was not announced, the PS3 version arrives in the US in March; European release has not been confirmed.

No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either is the fifth entry in the torturously renamed Acquire franchise, which you may know as Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman, What Did I Do To Deserve This My Lord, or one of a dozen fan nicknames.

We have no release date beyond northern spring, but a few details: it's a match-three puzzle game with 64 levels, in which players use their "evil power of destruction" to battle over 200 "quirky looking heroes".

Defeated heroes are banished to your dungeon, where they dig up power-up items for later battles. A mode called Badman's Lair allows you to combine monsters, heroes and items to create more powerful tools.

Murasaki Baby is a new Vita exclusive from Italian indie Ovosonico, first shown at gamescom. Although a 2014 European release was confirmed at the time, SCE America has now signed it up for North American release, too.

The game features a child called Baby who awakens in a child's nightmare world. The player guides the character, using the rear touch pad to switch between a friendly and hostile version of the landscape, and utilising various tools to overcome puzzles.

Sony has showcased numerous Vita games today as part of a closed-doors PlayStation media summit in Los Angeles. The big news is the slim Vita 2000 arriving in spring with Borderlands 2, but there are two PS2 Classic collections inbound too.

The PS4 got a look-in too - over 100 games are headed to the next-gen console in 2014.
