Blackspace - PixelFoundry Games takes to Kickstarter for funding

Blackspace, the RTS in development from PixelFoundry Games, has landed on Kickstarter.
Blackspace is similar to a tower defense title, where players journey through space on massive rigs in hopes of finding mineral deposits to extract. In the vast frontiers of the galaxy, colonists “expect to prove that life can not only exist but flourish” and players will need to decide whether the deep space ventures “can yield returns to justify the expense and the risk.”
The former EA Tiburon vets' Kickstarter is asking for $350,000 in funding, and so far, 244 backers have pledged $12,124.
Blackspace will support Oculus Rift and nVidia 3D upon release.
