The Pack-a-Punch machine is one of the longest running staples of the Zombies mode, and returns once again in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. In this Black Ops 4 Voyage of Despair Zombies guide, we'll be walking you through unlocking the Voyage of Despair Zombies Pack-a-Punch machine as easily as possible.

Black Ops 4 Voyage of Despair Pack-a-Punch Guide

Firstly, we should point out that the Voyage of Despair Zombies map in Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is absolutely massive. It’s definitely one of the biggest maps that’s ever been put together for the Zombies mode in the entire series, and it’ll definitely take anyone a fair amount of time to get their head around.

Just below, we’ll be walking you through the step by step guide to unlocking the Pack-a-Punch machine on the Voyage of Despair map in Call of Duty Black Ops 4.

Obtain the Artifact

Straight away, you need to head to the opposite side of the ship from where you spawn, and unlock the doors to the Poop Deck. Climb up the raised platform, to where you can find the Sentinel Artifact, which is glowing blue. Once you’ve collected it, the teleporters will activate, and four glowing symbols will appear around the map.

Collect the Glowing Symbols

You now need to track down all four of the symbols that have appeared around the Voyage of Despair map, and activate them. Just below, we’ll list out the locations of all four symbols.

• Symbol 1 - Located in the Poop Deck, above the pedestal.
• Symbol 2 - In the turbine room, swim underwater and through the open passage, to the big red turbine.
• Symbol 3 - This symbol can be found at the very bottom of the grand staircase.
• Symbol 4 - Drain all the water out of the Cargo Hold with the red lever, and you can find the symbol along the wall to the right.

Back in the Poop Deck, the pedestal where you first claimed the Artifact will transform into the Pack-a-Punch upgrade station, as soon as you’ve collected all four symbols. It’ll cost 5000 points to upgrade your weapon at the station once you’ve unlocked it, but once you’ve done this, the weapon will have a fresh skin, damage boost, and deeper ammo reserves.
