Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Zombies IX Mystery Box Location
Firstly, you’ll start out this map in the middle of an old Roman arena, fighting for your lives as usual with nothing more than a pistol. There are precious few weapon unlock points around this initial area, so you’ll want to get out of it as soon as possible. In this starting area, the blue markers on the gates signal that they can be opened, providing you’ve got enough points, while the red markers indicate that they can’t be opened from the side that you’re currently stood on.
Once you’re into any of the four subsections of the IX Zombies map in Black Ops 4, you can go about unlocking the Pack-a-Punch machine to upgrade your weapons. For a full walkthrough of how to do just this, head over to our Black Ops 4 IX Zombies Pack-a-Punch guide.
Otherwise, it’s now a fight for how long you can last against the horde. If you head underground in any of the four areas of the IX map, you’ll find yourself in a labyrinth of corridors. Don’t go underground without a fair few points saved up first, as you’ll want to have a lot stored up to unlock additional areas underground quickly.
But above ground, at the top of the towers in each four subsections of the IX map, you can find upgrade perks. These include increased stamina, increased weapon damage, quick revive, and more, and we’ll be providing a full list of their locations right here, as soon as we’ve discovered them all.
As for the Mystery Box on the IX Zombies map, it always starts off underground. In the first area that you unlock that splits off from the central arena, you’ll want to find the stairs leading underground as quickly as you can. From here, find the corridor that splits off from the main area, and follow it to the left, where you can find the Mystery Box on the floor, next to a crumbling statue.
This might be the end of our guide to the IX Zombies map in Call of Duty Black Ops 4, but we’ll be expanding on the information above, whenever we uncover any new details.
