Black Desert outfits now about 10% cheaper, will be on sale at launch

Black Desert vanity item prices have been adjusted in the direction of this young lady's thumb.

New MMO Black Desert was the centre of a ruckus last month when an early version of its cash shop advertised some whopping prices on both cosmetic and buff-providing items. The complaints were heard, and Daum has made adjustments.

The most egregious example was a $32 outfit and weapon skin set, which has been price adjusted from 3,200 Pearls to 2,900 Pearls - a change of approximately 10%. Pearls sell for about $1 per 100, meaning you're still looking at around $29 (€29 in Europe).

That said, players who really want to pick up an Outfit Set package, as the item is known, will be able to purchase one for 2,500 Pearls during a sale running March 3 through March 14. That means those who own the Conquerer Package can grab one with their bundled Pearls.

Additionally, all pets will be discounted by 20% during the same period.

The price change and sale were announced as part of an update post on the Black Desert forums, which also details new features, how to claim your founder's rewards and much more.

Black Desert launches in the west on March 3.
