This Binary Domain cinematic could have gone in a lot of directions, but the one which ends in the sappy hero getting a scolding from the proletariat is pretty great.
If they'd stopped it on "it seems like most of them have forgotten how to smile" I would have thrown my pre-order ticket in the bin and penned a nasty letter to Nagoshi.
Binary Domain releases on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 23 in Australia, February 24 in Europe, and February 28 in the US. It's a tactical shooter with a couple of really neat features - a robust, voice-controlled conversation system, and a consequence system which may see your AI squad mates leaving you to die if you make poor command decisions or even just rub them up the wrong way outside of battle.
