Bigpoint staff move to avoid further job cuts
Employees at online gaming company Bigpoint have voted to install an employee organisation to represent them. German public services trade union Verdi has assisted the move and will manage working conditions.
The move follows the recent axing of 80 jobs, reports StumbleUpon, and will make it harder for the company to do in the future.
Reaching 300 millions users this week and boasting a 65 game portfolio, Bigpoint offers Battlestar Galactica, DarkOrbit, Rising Cities and Gameglobe amongst its titles.
