Bigpoint interested in Star Trek: Infinite Space

Battlestar Galactica Online publisher Bigpoint may rescue browser-based MMO Star Trek: Infinite Space from imminent shelving.
Bigpoint CEO Heiko Hubertz reportedly told German site OGLabs at the 2011 Browsergames Forum that the publisher is interested in co-publishing the game.
Hubertz said an agreement has not yet been reached, but that original publisher Gameforge is considering the offer.
Star Trek: Infinite Space's future was thrown into doubt when an organisational shuffle saw Gameforge layoff 20% of its staff, cancel Mythos and Hellbreed, and call for a co-publisher for the licensed title.
Gameforge, which claims to be the biggest publisher of online games in Europe, absorbed Frogster earlier this year.
