Big Hero 6 to be featured in Kingdom Hearts 3
Kingdom Hearts 3 will embrace Pixar stablemate Big Hero 6 in a delightfully on-theme mash-up.
Kingdom Hearts and Big Hero 6 have a lot of synergy. They both represent collaboration between Japanese and American creatives. They both explore similar themes of friendship and love. They both exhibit a distinct aesthetic.
So it's great to hear that a version of San Fransokyo will appear in Kingdom Hearts 3, along with Baymax and the rest of the team. According to KH13, reporting from D23 Expo this weekend, the subplot of the Big Hero 6 world will see the Heartless taking over the Baymax left inside the portal at the conclusion of the movie.
The video below features Big Hero 6 producer Roy Conli, who also produced Tangled - likewise making an appearance in Kingdom Hearts 3. The PS4 and Xbox One title has not been dated.
