Behaviour Interactive hints at involvement with PSP2
Behaviour Interactive CEO Rémi Racine has hinted at his studio's involvement with PSP2, saying the developer is working on a new "next-gen" handheld.
"I'm working on a next-generation portable platform," he told Eurogamer.
"That's the only thing I can say. The press release says it all."
While it isn't outright confirmation Behaviour are working on it, it's not the first time PSP2 has been brought up.
EA exec Patrick Soderlund said last week the company's had "exposure" to the machine.
Mortal Kombat devs Netherrealm, however, came out and outright said it had a PSP2 dev kit.
“We are looking at [PSP and DS]; we have a PSP2 in the house and we’re looking at the engine, like what can it support,” Netherrealm Studios Shaun Himmerick said back in September.
A while back, it was reported that PSP2’s screen is bigger then the present model, uses memory sticks, has twice the RAM of an Xbox 360 and more.
VG247 has also been told by sources that the machine, codenamed Veta, will be released in Holiday 2011.
Behaviour Interactive announced it had changed its name from A2M earlier this week, as well as confirming sequels to Naughty Bear and WET.
