BBC makes Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock official
Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock is now official, after an announcement by BBC this morning confirmed yesterday's report.
In it, the Doctor and River Song must save the Earth, as usual, and the player must "learn to master the complexities of time travel with exceptional time-based gameplay." Seems that changes made in one layer of time will have consequences in other layers, causing multiple scenarios players will have to solve using puzzles "across the centuries."
Currently in the works from Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves developer Supermassive Games, the story in the game was co-written with BBC Wales, and Doctor Who actors Matt Smith and Alex Kingston will lend their voices to the title as well.
More details on the other Doctor Who games in the works are to be revealed next year, specifically information pertaining to the F2P MMO, Doctor Who: Worlds in Time in development at Three Rings and SEGA.
The Eternity Clock is slated for a digital release in early 2012 for PC, PS3, and Vita.
