Battlestar Galactica writer penning new Sony Santa Monica IP, isn't God of War
Battlestar Galactica writer Michael Angeli has confirmed he is working with Sony Santa Monica Studio on a new game that is not God of War.
Reporting from Comic-Con, Polygon says that Angeli confirmed his involvement during a panel session at the show.
Angeli told the site that he has been penning work for the game over the past two and a half years, and that the project involves a team of around 150 staff at the studio. He couldn't say anything about the project but hinted that his work on Battlestar Galactica helped him secure the job.
This stacks up with this weird easter egg discovered in God of War: Ascension that seemed to allude to a new game in the series, or something else from the studio. given Angeli's experience in sci-fi, this could point to a new futuristic or space-faring experience.
What do you think it is? Well, last year the studio was hiring for people with experience in shooters and vehicular combat. Check out the job posting here.
