Battlefield 4: DICE investigating stat and progression transfers from current to next-gen

DICE said it currently "investigating" transferring player data from Battlefield 4 on current-gen systems over to next-gen consoles. This way, if a player upgrades and picks the game up for PS4 or Xbox One, they won't have to start things all over again. The possibility of it mirrors what is being done with Ultimate Team in FIFA 14 and Madden 25. While not confirmed, it's a possibility at least. Thanks, Joystiq.
