Battlefield 3: End Game - DICE details how it created "the perfect dirt bike playground"

Battlefield 3: End Game is expected in March, and since it is the last pack of DLC for the shooter before DICE starts focusing on a new game in the series, the team thought it would be cool for players to ride around on dirt bikes and performing all sorts of jumps.

You've seen the bikes in action a bit through a trailer posted last month, but DICE has gone one step further by releaseing a developer blog on the new vehicle.

According to QA Analyst Malin von Matern, two of the most jump heavy maps in End Game are Operation Riverside and Kiasar Railroad. The other maps, Nebandan Flats and Sabalan Pipeline, will rely more on using skills the player has learned when taking the constructed jumps in raw terrain.

The blog post goes into how the dirt bikes and jumps were created, and there a few tips in there as well. You should have read, if you like.
