Battlefield 1 is finally getting Xbox One X support in upcoming summer patch
DICE is not yet done with Battlefield 1.
Battlefield 1 is nearing the end of its life cycle as EA and DICE prepare to launch Battlefield 5, but the game's support has seemingly be extended once again.
The studio is currently working on a big summer patch, which, among likely other things, will finally add in support for Xbox One X. Fans have been requesting DICE take advantage of the upgraded hardware in the Xbox One X since the console launched in November, particularly because the game already takes advantage of PS4 Pro's hardware.
This summer update, which does not yet have a release date, will also bring with it other unnamed game improvements. DICE will reveal all in an hour-long livestream later today.
The show kicks off at 1pm LA time, 4pm NY time, and 9pm London time. We've embedded the player below, but you can always hit up Battlefield's official Twitch channel for the archive, in case you miss the live show.
